Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Head of Bancassurance to anchor the revenue-diversification engine of our organization in Lagos. In a specialized financial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the cross-sell and the precision of the partnership success is defined by "Financial Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize core banking customer journeys with the clinical precision required for Insurance Integration, Strategic Distribution, and Regulatory Compliance. This role is designed for a "Revenue Architect" specifically a senior leader with 12 to 15 years of expertise who can blend "Commercial Grit" (negotiating partner terms and optimizing commission flows) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Product Innovation and Digital Channel Enablement.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Strategy Governance

  • Sovereignty of the Strategy: Lead the execution of the Nigeria Bancassurance strategy in full alignment with Group priorities, acting as the primary "Source of Country-Level Growth."

  • Integration Architecture: Embed insurance propositions into core banking products and customer lifecycles, providing the "Structural Foundation" for increased insurance penetration.

  • Integrity Stewardship: Adhere to the Group Bancassurance Framework and local regulations, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Compliance" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Sales Logic

  • Distribution Sovereignty: Activate branches, RMs, and digital channels to scale sales, acting as the primary "Source of Frontline Performance."

  • Partner Architecture: Manage strategic relationships with insurance partners and optimize commercial terms, providing the "Functional Foundation" for profitable and accountable collaborations.

  • Enablement Stewardship: Drive capability building through structured training and coaching, maintaining the "Source of Sales Effectiveness."

3. Operational Integrity & Intelligence Power

  • Analytical Sovereignty: Leverage robust dashboards and BI to drive data-led decision-making, acting as the primary "Source of Actionable Insight."

  • Value Architecture: Refine customer value propositions and simplify the product suite, providing the "Relational Foundation" for superior customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required.

  • Experience: 12 – 15 years of progressive experience in the financial services sector.

  • Certification: Professional Insurance qualifications are a mandatory requirement.

  • Sector Intelligence: Deep and verifiable knowledge of the Nigerian Insurance industry.
