Requirements:
1. Investment Banking & Advisory
Capital Markets: Gain exposure to debt and equity capital raising, helping corporate clients navigate the complexities of the Nigerian financial markets.
Financial Modeling: Assist in the development of valuation models and the preparation of pitch books for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring projects.
Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into macroeconomic trends and industry sectors to support investment decision-making.
2. Asset Management & Wealth Strategy
Portfolio Analysis: Support our wealth managers in tracking asset performance and diversifying portfolios for retail and institutional investors.
Client Relations: Assist in the management of high-net-worth (HNW) client accounts, ensuring a premium service experience that aligns with our brand values.
Compliance & Risk: Learn the regulatory frameworks governing investment management in Nigeria, focusing on SEC and CBN guidelines.
3. Corporate Support & Operations
Treasury Operations: Gain insight into liquidity management, foreign exchange (FX) transactions, and the bank’s internal financial steering.
Risk Management: Understand how we identify, assess, and mitigate credit, market, and operational risks across the bank's activities.
Digital Transformation: Contribute to projects that leverage technology to improve the efficiency of our financial solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidate Profile
Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Law, or a related discipline.
Academic Standing: A strong academic record (typically a Second Class Upper (2:1) or higher) is preferred.
Citizenship: Must be a Nigerian citizen or legally eligible to work in Nigeria.
