Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber General Manager to serve as the chief operator and strategic lead for our hospitality establishment in Port Harcourt. In a competitive regional market, success is defined by the seamless integration of culinary excellence, rigorous cost control, and elite service delivery. This role is designed for a "Performance Architect", a professional with a proven track record in restaurant or hotel management who can translate revenue targets into operational reality.

Your mission is to ensure "Total Operational Excellence." You will be responsible for the entire business lifecycle: from driving aggressive sales growth and supervising multi-departmental teams to enforcing strict food safety standards and optimizing inventory. If you possess a "Results-Oriented" mindset and the professional grit to manage high-pressure environments while maintaining surgical precision in financial reporting, we want you to lead our brand.

Requirements:

1. Revenue Engineering & Financial Stewardship

• Sales Growth: Develop and execute local marketing and sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets in the Port Harcourt market.

• Cost Governance: Implement rigorous food cost control and waste reduction protocols to maximize gross margins without compromising quality.

• Fiscal Reporting: Manage the branch budget, oversee daily accounting through POS systems, and prepare comprehensive financial performance reports for executive review.

2. Service Diplomacy & Guest Experience

• Customer Retention: Design and implement customer satisfaction strategies that turn first-time guests into loyal brand advocates.

• Service Quality: Monitor staff-customer interactions in real-time to ensure adherence to premium service standards and immediate resolution of any complaints.

• Front-of-House Mastery: Maintain a strong leadership presence on the floor, coaching the team to deliver an energetic and proactive service experience.

3. Back-of-House & Supply Chain Management

• Operational Flow: Supervise the "Live" pulse of the kitchen and logistics, ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workforce planning.

• Inventory Control: Oversee stock levels and vendor coordination to ensure seamless supplies without over-stocking or capital tie-up.

• Compliance Management: Ensure 100% adherence to health and safety standards, regulatory permits, and internal operational procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. (Equivalent high-level work experience may be considered).

• Experience: Proven leadership in Restaurant or Hospitality Management, with deep expertise in team supervision and financial monitoring.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and modern POS (Point of Sale) systems.
