Job Description:
Are you a dedicated, customer-focused pharmacist ready to elevate your career in a reputable retail environment? Charther Pharmacy is seeking a professional Full-Time Pharmacist to lead our clinical service delivery. This role is designed for a clinician who balances high-accuracy dispensing with empathetic patient counseling. You will be the clinical heart of our community pharmacy, responsible for supervising junior staff, managing complex inventory, and ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of pharmaceutical care.
Requirements:
1. Clinical Care & Patient Counseling
Prescription Mastery: Accurately and efficiently dispense medications while cross-checking for contraindications and drug interactions.
Patient Advocacy: Provide expert counseling and pharmaceutical advice, ensuring patients understand their therapy and lifestyle management.
OTC Expertise: Offer evidence-based recommendations for over-the-counter medications and health supplements.
2. Operational Excellence & Compliance
Regulatory Stewardship: Maintain meticulous record-keeping for controlled substances and general prescriptions in line with PCN (Pharmacists Council of Nigeria) standards.
Inventory Governance: Oversee stock management, implementing rigorous expiry checks and optimizing reorder levels to prevent stock-outs.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organized, and strictly professional at all times.
3. Leadership & Supervision
Team Mentorship: Supervise and mentor pharmacy interns and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional discipline.
Workflow Optimization: Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy floor to ensure minimal wait times and high service quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or PharmD.
Tenure: Minimum of 3 years’ post-NYSC experience specifically in retail pharmacy practice.
Licensing: Must be a registered Pharmacist with a valid, up-to-date practicing license.
Core Competencies
Technical Knowledge: Strong command of prescription dispensing, pharmacology, and retail inventory metrics.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Organizational Skill: High level of reliability and the ability to work independently while maintaining ethics.
Salary
