FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT AT OINOVA - LAGOS

Oinova is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger, trial balance, and financial records.
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant statutory regulations.
• Ensure timely computation and remittance of all statutory taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.).
• File regulatory returns in compliance with FIRS, state tax authorities, and other regulators.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws impacting the oilfield services sector.
• Liaise with insurers and brokers to ensure adequate coverage and timely renewals.
• Ensure accurate allocation of expenses to project accounts.
• Monitor receivables, prepare aging reports, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Support budgeting and strategic planning processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• An MBA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian Tax laws, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
