Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Finance Manager to anchor the economic engine of our Abuja-based operations. In the specialized landscape of Nigerian fiscal management, success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex accounting cycles with the clinical precision required for Tax Compliance, Cash Flow Optimization, and Audit Readiness. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" who can blend "Mathematical Grit" (overseeing General Ledger and P&L accuracy) with the "Strategic Agility" required to provide high-fidelity reporting to senior leadership.
Requirements:
1. Portfolio Orchestration & Governance
Reporting Sovereignty: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Clarity."
Compliance Architecture: Ensure 100% adherence to IFRS standards and Nigerian tax laws (WHT, VAT, CIT), providing the "Structural Foundation" for regulatory integrity.
Audit Stewardship: Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring the "Source of Fiscal Accountability" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Capital Logic
Liquidity Sovereignty: Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure operational continuity, acting as the primary "Source of Solvency."
Budgetary Architecture: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for cost-control and revenue growth.
Risk Stewardship: Identify and mitigate financial risks and variances, maintaining the "Source of Economic Resilience."
3. Operational Integrity & Performance Power
Payroll Sovereignty: Oversee the accurate and timely disbursement of staff salaries and statutory deductions, acting as the primary "Source of Workforce Trust."
Systems Architecture: Optimize the use of ERP and accounting software to improve data accuracy, providing the "Visual Foundation" for financial transparency.
Velocity Logic: Utilize advanced financial modeling to support business development and investment decisions, maximizing the "Source of Resource Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Candidates should possess a relevant qualification (B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or Economics).
Certification: Professional membership with ICAN or ACCA is strongly preferred.
Skills: Mastery of Excel (Financial Modeling) and proficiency in ERP software (Sage, SAP, or QuickBooks).
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abuja.
