Job Description:

  • Collaborate closely with senior management and business leaders to develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with the bank’s vision and objectives.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and business unit executives.
  • Oversee the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure the alignment of financial objectives with operational realities and strategic priorities.
  • Drive the implementation of financial best practices and process improvements across the organization.
  • Serve as a key advisor on major business initiatives, new products, and strategic projects.
  • Provide expert insights and financial modeling to support business initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and new product launches.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial analysis, scenario modeling, and forecasting to inform key business decisions.
  • Evaluate potential investments, capital expenditures, and resource allocations to optimize profitability and risk management.
  • Design and implement performance measurement frameworks, monitor key financial and operational metrics, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business unit performance.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes, ensuring targets are realistic yet ambitious.
  • Act as the primary liaison between finance and other departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual accountability.
  • Translate complex financial information into accessible, actionable intelligence for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Identify and assess financial risks across products, markets, and regulatory environments.
  • Work with risk and compliance teams to ensure strategies mitigate exposure and support sustainable growth.

Requirements:

Minimum Education:

  • First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Science or Engineering.
  • Master’s Degree/Professional certification in Accounting or Finance (ACA, CFA or similar professional qualifications).

 

Experience:

  • Experience in MIS (Management Information System).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and leading analytics tools, SQL, etc.
  • Experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cost management
  • Leadership and stakeholder management
  • Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience, in MIS, Finance, Forecasting, budgeting or finance role
