Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile Finance and Operations Associate to serve as the backbone of our Abuja office. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can seamlessly transition between managing project budgets, overseeing facility operations, and coordinating HR/contractual workflows. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for operational efficiency, and a solid foundation in finance and business administration, we want you on our team.

Requirements:

  • Financial Operations: Collaborate with the Accountant on budget allocations. You will own the petty cash management, track operational expenses, process vendor invoices, and prepare essential documentation for tax and audit compliance.

  • General Operations: Act as the office manager, overseeing facility maintenance, utility management, and the procurement of assets. You will also coordinate complex logistics for field teams, including travel and vehicle management.

  • HR Administration: Support the full recruitment lifecycle, maintain accurate employee records, manage onboarding, and lead staff welfare initiatives.

  • Contract Management: Take charge of the contract lifecycle—drafting, reviewing, and archiving agreements for vendors and employees. You will monitor key milestones and ensure all contracts remain fully compliant with regulatory standards.

  • Operational Strategy: Continuously refine administrative workflows to drive organizational productivity and ensure team outputs align with corporate strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in project finance, operations, or office administration. Experience in the development or research sector is a distinct advantage.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • MS Office Suite: Advanced proficiency in Excel (for financial tracking), Word (for contracts), and PowerPoint.

    • Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of financial processes and contract structures.
