Job Description:
Generic Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with NRC/NIF financial policies, donor regulations, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation systems.
- Prepare and submit timely financial reports and analysis.
- Support grants management processes and donor compliance.
- Monitor budgets and cash flow for NIF operations.
- Contribute to proposal development and donor reporting.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Represent NIF positively in donor and partner engagements.
Specific Responsibilities Financial Management:
- Prepare donor budgets and ensure inclusion of support costs.
- Monitor Budget vs Actual (BvA) analysis monthly.
- Process payments, staff advances, and claims in line with NRC standards.
- Maintain internal control systems for accurate postings and compliance.
- Archive financial documents in O365 per NRC guidelines.
Grants Administration:
- Develop and maintain an overview of all grants, donor requirements, and deadlines.
- Review proposals for compliance with NRC and donor guidelines.
- Maintain organized program files, including donor contracts and reports. Ensure donor compliance for NIF grants and project cycle management.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare high-quality donor financial reports and ensure timely submission.
- Support training on anti-corruption policy and financial systems (Agresso).
- Track and report on regulatory and donor compliance developments.
Coordination & Support:
- Work closely with NIF program and operations teams, NRC Grants and Finance Managers.
- Represent finance in bid committees and strategic planning sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: BSc in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3–5 years in financial and grants management within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong understanding of donor rules and regulations.
- Skills in proposal and report writing, financial analysis, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems (Agresso preferred).
- Excellent English communication skills.
