Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Fibre Engineer to anchor the transmission engine of our network operations in Lagos. In a specialized telecommunications landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the light-path and the precision of the splice success is defined by "Connectivity Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize physical installation with the clinical precision required for Splicing, Termination, and Signal Testing. This role is designed for a "Transmission Architect" specifically a technical expert with Full-Cycle Fiber Experience who can blend "Hardware Grit" (installing cables and troubleshooting network faults) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Site Surveys and Installation Planning.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Physical Governance

  • Sovereignty of the Path: Install and configure fiber optic cables and related equipment with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Network Expansion."

  • Splicing Architecture: Perform high-fidelity splicing and termination of fiber cables, providing the "Structural Foundation" for low-loss signal transmission.

  • Integrity Stewardship: Conduct site surveys and prepare comprehensive installation plans, ensuring the "Source of Deployment Logic" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Troubleshooting Logic

  • Resolution Sovereignty: Troubleshoot and repair network faults or signal issues with high-velocity precision, acting as the primary "Source of Uptime Continuity."

  • Testing Architecture: Execute rigorous testing protocols to validate cable performance, providing the "Functional Foundation" for high-speed data delivery.

  • Safety Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with safety and industry standards, maintaining the "Source of Operational Security."

3. Operational Integrity & Collaboration Power

  • Documentation Sovereignty: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the network infrastructure, acting as the primary "Source of Inventory Truth."

  • Systemic Architecture: Work with other technical teams to optimize network efficiency, providing the "Relational Foundation" for enterprise-wide connectivity.

  • Velocity Logic: Utilize Advanced Fiber Engineering expertise to accelerate the "Deployment-to-Activation" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Transmission Throughput."

  • Experience: Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Fiber Optic Networks.

  • Technical Power: Expertise in Fusion Splicing, termination techniques, and the use of OTDR/Power Meters.
