Job Description:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber-optic networks.
• Learn and support fiber cable splicing, termination, and testing.
• Assist technicians with fiber optic cable laying, routing, and connections.
• Conduct basic fiber testing using tools such as OTDR and power meters.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic fiber connectivity and network faults.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber infrastructure.
• Follow safety procedures and technical standards during field operations.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Work with senior fiber engineers and technicians on assigned projects.
• Carry out other technical duties assigned by the supervisor.
