Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy and professionally poised Front Desk Officer to be the face of our logistics brand in Port Harcourt. In the fast-moving world of courier and cargo services, you are the critical first point of contact—the bridge between our clients and their valuable shipments.

You will be responsible for managing high-volume inquiries, coordinating courier bookings, and ensuring that every visitor and partner experiences the efficiency and reliability that our brand represents. Requirements:
1. Professional Brand Stewardship
First Impression Management: Welcome clients, partners, and visitors with a warmth and professionalism that reinforces our brand’s reputation.
Reception Aesthetics: Ensure the front-of-house reflects our corporate identity—organized, clean, and ready for high-level business interactions.
Security & Compliance: Maintain meticulous visitor logs and uphold facility security protocols to ensure the safety of our staff and premises.
2. Logistics Communication & Tracking
Information Authority: Provide clients with real-time, accurate information regarding shipment status, tracking numbers, and our full suite of logistics services.
Multichannel Management: Efficiently handle incoming calls and emails, ensuring that no inquiry is left unanswered and that customer concerns are resolved with speed.
Courier Coordination: Support walk-in customers and manage bookings for courier pickups, ensuring all documentation is accurate and ready for the operations team.
3. Operational Support & Administration
Internal Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to support scheduling and ensure that front-desk activities align with daily logistics goals.
Data Management: Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage documentation, track inquiries, and handle basic administrative reporting.
Discretion & Detail: Handle all administrative tasks with a high level of confidentiality and attention to the small details that prevent logistical errors.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Background
Education: Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role (experience in logistics/courier services is an asset).
Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Core Competencies
Communication: Articulate, persuasive, and able to remain calm under the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
Demeanor: Confident, well-groomed, and professionally presented at all times.
Multitasking: The ability to manage a ringing phone, a walk-in client, and a tracking inquiry simultaneously without losing focus.
