Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable, technical, and hardworking Feed-Mill Operator to join our poultry production team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of high-quality poultry feed, managing the machinery, and ensuring that our nutrient formulas are precisely executed. This is a technical role that requires attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to maintaining bio-security and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Production Management: Operate and monitor crushers, grinders, and mixers to produce consistent, high-quality poultry feed according to specific formulas.

• Quality Assurance: Regularly test feed for consistency, nutrient content, and hygiene to ensure they meet our strict farm standards.

• Inventory & Materials: Manage the receipt and storage of raw materials (corn, soy, micro-ingredients), ensuring proper stock management and prevention of contamination.

• Mechanical Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep on machinery, including greasing bearings, inspecting gearboxes, and checking belts to ensure operational uptime.

• Bio-Security & Hygiene: Strictly adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a sterile, clean mill environment.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of production volume, ingredient usage, and machine performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of HND or relevant vocational training in feed production, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery operation.

  • Ability to follow precise formulas and safety protocols.

  • Physical fitness to handle raw material bags and machinery maintenance.

• Training: Full training will be provided to all employees upon resumption.
