Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Factory Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team in Abuja. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to build a career in production and garment manufacturing. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end production process from operating machinery to final packing, ensuring that every product meets our quality standards before reaching the customer.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a positive work attitude who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative factory environment.

Requirements:

Machinery & Production

• Machine Operation: Efficiently operate industrial button machines and other garment-related equipment as required.

• Technical Assistance: Support senior production staff in the assembly and finishing of garments and craft items.

Quality Control & Finishing

• Inspection: Perform thorough quality checks on finished goods to identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.

• Garment Packing: Neatly fold, tag, and pack finished garments according to company standards for retail or delivery.

Inventory & Logistics

• Material Tracking: Assist in the daily inventory of raw materials, fabrics, and accessories to ensure production schedules are met without interruption.

• Stock Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that materials are stored safely and are easily accessible.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Minimum of SSCE (Secondary School Leaving Certificate), OND, or a Vocational certificate in any field.

• Experience:

  • None required. Full on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Core Competencies:

  • Work Attitude: Exceptional discipline, punctuality, and a strong willingness to learn.

  • Communication: Good verbal communication skills for effective team coordination.

  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle delicate materials and operate machinery with precision.

  • Stamina: Physical fitness to handle the demands of an on-site factory environment.
