Job Description:
We are recruiting a talented and highly organized Facilities Officer (FO) to join our team in Central Park, Abuja. This is a Full-Time role (5 days per week, including weekends on a rota).
The Facilities Officer is responsible for ensuring the clubhouse, its facilities, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards. This involves leading the cleaning team, overseeing maintenance needs, and coordinating with external contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising a team of 2 cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Conducting twice-weekly walk-round inspections and preparing detailed reports.
- Carrying out and overseeing routine repairs and general maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a facilities, maintenance, or technician role, preferably within hospitality.
- Supervisory experience (leading cleaning or maintenance teams).
- Skilled technician with practical experience in at least two of the following: Plumbing, Electrical, General Handyman/Maintenance, Aluminium and glass fitting, or Audio-visual (AV) technology.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings where required.
