Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, polished, and highly professional Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of a premium fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional leadership skills, international hospitality exposure, and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring flawless daily operations, maintaining the highest service standards, driving revenue growth, developing staff, and protecting the restaurant's reputation as a luxury dining destination.

Requirements:

Operations Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain impeccable fine dining service standards throughout every shift.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are strictly followed.
  • Coordinate dining room, kitchen, bar, reservations, and guest relations.
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, ambience, lighting, music, table settings, and overall presentation.
  • Ensure all service sequences comply with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Guest Experience

  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction through personalized service.
  • Welcome VIP guests and handle special requests professionally.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with regular patrons.
  • Ensure every guest enjoys a memorable luxury dining experience.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Recruit, train, coach, and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and post-service reviews.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide continuous coaching.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, discipline, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Schedule staff efficiently to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.

Financial Management

  • Drive restaurant sales and profitability.
  • Monitor daily revenue and operational costs.
  • Control labour costs and scheduling.
  • Minimize wastage and operational losses.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
  • Manage budgets and achieve financial targets.

Food & Beverage Quality Control

  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain high beverage standards.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu planning and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor portion control and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Supervise stock receiving and storage.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts.
  • Prevent theft, wastage, and stock variances.
  • Approve requisitions according to company policy.

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop initiatives to increase restaurant revenue.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Promote private dining events and special experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns.
  • Increase guest retention and repeat business.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain licensing requirements.
  • Enforce company policies and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and hospitality regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years' experience managing a luxury or fine dining restaurant.
  • Previous experience in five-star hotels, luxury restaurants, premium hospitality brands, or internationally recognized restaurant chains.
  • Proven record of increasing revenue and improving guest satisfaction.
  • Experience managing multicultural teams.

Above ₦1,000,000/month
