Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Graduate Trainee to anchor the informational engine of the EU Delegation to Nigeria. In a specialized diplomatic landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the dispatch and the precision of the political brief success is defined by "Diplomatic Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize local political intelligence with the clinical precision required for Press Relations, Strategic Communication, and EU External Action. This role is designed for a "Diplomatic Architect", specifically a high-achieving Nigerian graduate with less than one year of experience who can blend "Analytical Grit" (gathering data and drafting reports for the PPI section) with the "Operational Agility" required to support daily administrative tasks within a high-impact delegation.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Intelligence Governance

• Political Sovereignty: Assist in gathering information and drafting reports related to Nigerian political activities with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Situational Awareness."

• Reporting Architecture: Support the Delegation in daily operational and administrative tasks, providing the "Structural Foundation" for diplomatic workflow.

• Integrity Stewardship: Contribute to the delegation’s communication strategy, ensuring the "Source of Information Dissemination" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Communication Logic

• Press Sovereignty: Support the PPI section in managing media relations and monitoring press activities, acting as the primary "Source of Media Intelligence."

• Strategy Architecture: Execute information dissemination tasks that align with EU communication standards, providing the "Functional Foundation" for public diplomacy.

• Europass Stewardship: Maintain high-fidelity documentation and administrative records, maintaining the "Source of Bureaucratic Precision."

3. Operational Integrity & Growth Power

• National Sovereignty: Apply local insights as a Nigerian citizen to contextualize political reports, acting as the primary "Source of Local Nuance."

• Unit Architecture: Integrate seamlessly into the Political, Press, and Information section, providing the "Relational Foundation" for cross-functional support.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize the 6-month immersive traineeship to accelerate the "Insight-to-Report" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Diplomatic Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Citizenship: Must be a Nigerian citizen.

• Education: Young graduate with at least a Bachelor’s Diploma (or equivalent).

• Experience: Less than 1 year of professional experience post-graduation.

• Technical Power: Ability to produce a detailed, standard Europass CV.
