Job Description:
We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure our plant operates at peak capacity. You will be responsible for the health of our electrical systems across production, packaging, and utility areas (Boiler/WTP). This role requires more than just "fixing" faults; we need a technician who uses technical drawings and analytical tools like Why-Why Analysis to prevent recurring issues and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
1. Specialized Repair & Troubleshooting
Technical Maintenance: Repair and replace damaged electrical components across diverse plant areas, including production lines, packaging, raw material silos, the Boiler house, and the Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
Diagnostic Excellence: Use excellent troubleshooting skills to identify faults quickly and carry out repairs strictly according to Checklists and Machine Drawings.
Root Cause Analysis: Perform Why-Why analysis on repeated technical failures to identify underlying causes and implement permanent solutions.
2. Planning & Documentation
Workflow Monitoring: Regularly review the logbook to track completed vs. pending jobs, ensuring no maintenance request is left unresolved.
Standardized Reporting: Fill all job orders accurately, returning them to the Service & Asset Management (SAM) unit, and prepare detailed work reports for future reference.
Departmental Response: Actively respond to maintenance requests from user departments to ensure internal service levels are met.
3. Safety & Precision
Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret complex machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals to ensure all work is compliant with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.
Asset Integrity: Maintain strong knowledge of industrial machinery to ensure that all electrical interventions enhance the longevity and efficiency of plant assets.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Qualification: 5 O’level Credits (including English and Mathematics) or relevant Technical Certifications (e.g., Trade Test, NABTEB).
Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar industrial electrical maintenance role.
Core Competencies
Electrical Mastery: Robust understanding of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to use diagnostic tools and logical reasoning to solve technical problems.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the user departments and maintenance teams.
Methodical Approach: Strict adherence to safety checklists and technical documentation.
