Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of our facility's power infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of power systems, including solar installations, high-capacity generators, and electrical distribution networks. Requirements:

• Facility Maintenance: Oversee comprehensive facility maintenance activities to ensure all systems operate at peak performance.

• Power Systems Management: Manage the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of solar power systems, inverters, and generator operations.

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose complex electrical faults, implement corrective measures, and conduct routine repairs on all electrical infrastructure.

• Load Management: Evaluate electrical loads across the facility and recommend system upgrades or capacity improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Operations Supervision: Supervise power distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal performance of all utility equipment.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce stringent electrical safety procedures, conduct regular risk assessments, and ensure full compliance with HSE and statutory regulations.

• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports, safety documentation, and maintenance logs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Candidates with an HND and substantial, proven experience are encouraged to apply).

• Experience: 5–8 years of practical, hands-on experience in the following areas:

  • Solar Power: Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar arrays and inverters.

  • Power Management: Expertise in generator systems and grid-to-power management.

  • General Maintenance: Proven background in comprehensive electrical facility maintenance.

• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of electrical schematics, power distribution, and fault diagnosis.

• Supervisory Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead electrical projects and manage technical teams effectively.

• Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, highly professional, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver.
