Job Description:

We are seeking a technically proficient and leadership-driven Electrical Engineer to manage our production operations in Mowe. In this role, you will be the bridge between technical excellence and operational efficiency, ensuring that our production lines run with maximum uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can supervise a diverse technical team while maintaining a "safety-first" culture. You will be responsible for translating production schedules into actionable tasks, overseeing equipment health, and collaborating across departments to meet quality benchmarks. If you have a strong electrical background and the ability to lead a fast-paced production floor, we want you on our team.

Requirements:

1. Production Flow & Technical Oversight

• Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily production cycles to ensure electrical systems and machinery are optimized for peak performance.

• Task Management: Supervise technical staff, delegating tasks effectively to ensure all production targets are met without compromising quality.

• Workflow Continuity: Monitor production schedules and proactively identify bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery of goods.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Systems Health

• Departmental Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the production floor and the maintenance department to schedule routine checks and emergency repairs.

• System Monitoring: Regularly inspect electrical panels, wiring, and machinery to prevent unplanned downtime.

• Resource Optimization: Manage power consumption and electrical load distribution to maintain operational cost-effectiveness.

3. Safety Governance & Compliance

• Safety Stewardship: Implement and maintain rigorous electrical safety standards to protect personnel and assets from hazards.

• Policy Enforcement: Ensure all production activities comply with company policies and National Electric Code (NEC) standards where applicable.

• Documentation: Keep accurate logs of equipment performance, safety incidents, and technical interventions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

• Experience: Proven experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial electrical setting.

• Leadership: Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.

Core Competencies

• Technical Troubleshooting: Advanced ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults in an industrial environment.

• Communication: Clear articulation of technical issues to non-engineering staff and management.

• Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing production schedules and multi-tasking under pressure.
