Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fulfilment & Dispatch Officer to anchor our post-purchase operations in Abuja. In the high-velocity world of e-commerce, success is defined by "Delivery Precision", the ability to move a product from the warehouse to the customer’s doorstep with zero errors. This role is designed for an "Operations Coordinator" with an OND qualification who can blend "Logistical Grit" with the meticulous record-keeping required for Pay-On-Delivery (POD) reconciliation.
Your mission is to ensure "Seamless Order Transitions and Financial Accuracy." You will take over the moment an order is confirmed: responsible for brand-standard packaging, rider coordination, and real-time delivery tracking. If you possess "Organizational Mastery," proficiency in Google Sheets, and the ability to manage multiple logistics partners simultaneously, we want you to drive our operational excellence.
Requirements:
1. Order Processing & Brand Packaging
Order Transition: Receive confirmed order data from the customer support team and initiate the fulfilment workflow immediately.
Packaging Excellence: Package products according to strict brand standards, ensuring items are protected during transit and presentable upon arrival.
Accurate Labeling: Verify and apply correct customer details, addresses, and special instructions to every package to minimize "Wrong Address" returns.
2. Dispatch Coordination & Delivery Tracking
Logistics Orchestration: Book and coordinate deliveries with a network of dispatch riders and third-party logistics (3PL) companies.
Real-Time Tracking: Monitor the movement of every package, updating the internal order status—from Dispatched and In-Transit to Delivered or Returned.
Return Management: Efficiently handle failed deliveries and process returns, ensuring stock is reconciled and customers are updated.
3. Financial Reconciliation & Inventory Monitoring
POD Governance: Monitor and reconcile Pay-On-Delivery (POD) payments from logistics partners, ensuring that all collected funds are remitted accurately and on time.
Data Stewardship: Maintain an "Audit-Ready" record of all dispatched and delivered orders within Google Sheets, providing daily transparency to management.
Inventory Intelligence: Monitor physical stock levels during the packing process and proactively report low inventory to prevent "Out-of-Stock" order cancellations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of an OND qualification.
Location: Must be based in Abuja for daily warehouse/office operations.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for maintaining delivery logs and inventory records.
Core Competencies
Organizational Grit: The ability to manage a high volume of daily orders without compromising on packaging quality or data accuracy.
Logistical Prowess: Familiarity with the Abuja geography and experience working with local dispatch riders/logistics companies.
