Premium Human Resources Solution - Our client, a banking institution bank in Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the position above.

Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Direct Sales Agent to drive our financial inclusion initiatives across the Lagos Island, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, and Ajah axis. In this role, you are the face of our banking services in the field. Your mission is to onboard new agents, promote our digital banking products, and bridge the gap for the unbanked and underbanked populations.

You will be responsible for expanding our agency network and ensuring that our financial services are accessible at the grassroots level.

Requirements:

1. Agency Onboarding & Network Expansion

  • Field Prospecting: Identify and recruit credible individuals and small business owners to serve as banking agents within assigned territories.

  • KYC Compliance: Ensure all prospective agents meet the regulatory requirements and provide accurate documentation for onboarding.

  • Territory Management: Systematically cover Lagos Island, Lekki, and Ajah to maximize our brand footprint.

2. Financial Inclusion & Product Advocacy

  • Education: Sensitize the public on the benefits of digital banking, mobile money, and agency banking services.

  • Volume Growth: Drive transaction volumes by ensuring agents are active, funded, and providing excellent service to their communities.

  • Relationship Management: Act as the first point of contact for agents, resolving their operational issues and providing ongoing training.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of NCE, OND, HND, or BSc in any discipline.

  • Age: Must be 35 years or younger.

  • Experience: Minimum of one year of proven experience in sales, marketing, or agency banking.

Core Competencies

  • Persuasion: Ability to close deals and convince business owners to join the agency network.

  • Resilience: Readiness for consistent fieldwork across the Lagos Island–Epe corridor.

  • Communication: Clear and professional verbal skills in English and local dialects (an advantage).
