Job Description:
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Database Administrator. The position is located in Lagos, with some work from home flexibility.
- The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining database systems, designing efficient databases, troubleshooting database issues, and overseeing database replication.
- The role requires ensuring database security and performance, as well as supporting data recovery and backup processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
- Proficiency in Database Administration and Database Design for Cloud (AWS)
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for resolving database-related issues
- In-depth understanding of various Databases and Replication processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
