Job Description:

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Database Administrator. The position is located in Lagos, with some work from home flexibility. 
• The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining database systems, designing efficient databases, troubleshooting database issues, and overseeing database replication. 
• The role requires ensuring database security and performance, as well as supporting data recovery and backup processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• Proficiency in Database Administration and Database Design for Cloud (AWS)
• Strong Troubleshooting skills for resolving database-related issues
• In-depth understanding of various Databases and Replication processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
