Job Description:

Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is seeking a disciplined and result-oriented Credit Officer to drive our lending operations across the Abuja-FCT region. You will be responsible for the full loan lifecycle—from identifying potential borrowers and assessing their financial health to the critical task of daily and weekly repayment collections. The ideal candidate understands that "a loan is only as good as its repayment" and possesses the analytical skills to evaluate risk alongside the interpersonal skills to manage diverse client portfolios in high-growth areas like Kuje, Gwagwalada, and Maraba.

Requirements:

1. Credit Assessment & Risk Analysis

• Loan Evaluation: Review loan requests and evaluate applicants' financial status to determine creditworthiness.

• Risk Calculation: Analyze financial data and documentation to calculate risk ratios, ensuring all approvals or rejections align with company policy.

• Structuring: Set up sustainable payment plans that balance client needs with the company’s risk appetite.

2. Portfolio Management & Field Operations

• Documentation: Manage the end-to-end processing of relevant paperwork, maintaining updated and audit-ready records of all loan applications.

• Monitoring: Actively monitor the progress of existing loans and proactively follow up with clients regarding loan renewals.

• Field Engagement: Regularly visit and contact clients in assigned territories (e.g., Lugbe, Sauka, Karu, Masaka) to gather financial data and verify business operations.

3. Collections & Financial Recovery

• Repayment Oversight: Lead the daily and weekly collection of repayments from clients, ensuring zero tolerance for delinquency.

• Accountability: Maintain a meticulous log of all collections and report performance metrics to management on a daily and weekly basis.

• Territory Focus

• This role requires deep familiarity and active presence in the following Abuja-FCT and surrounding corridors:

• Zone A: Kuje, Gwagwalada, Sauka

• Zone B: Lugbe, Nyanya

• Zone C: Karu, Maraba, Masaka

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: NCE/OND/HND/BSc in Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Professional History: Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or in a similar microfinance/lending role.

• Sector Knowledge: Hands-on experience with lending procedures, interest rate calculations, and credit products.

Core Skills

• Analytical Prowess: Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets with high accuracy.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to handle difficult conversations regarding repayments and collections.

• Discipline: Strong time-management skills to cover large territories and meet daily collection targets.
