Job Description:
- Ad Copywriting & Optimization: Develop, test, and refine ad copy for various paid campaigns (social media, search, retargeting) to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.
- Conversion Copy Refinement: Audit and optimize existing web and landing page copy to minimize messaging friction and enhance user engagement.
- Email & Nurture Sequences: Craft engaging email campaigns for onboarding, follow-ups, re-engagement, and promotions to effectively guide prospects through the sales funnel.
- SEO-Aware Content Support: Work closely with the content and SEO teams to ensure copy is keyword-informed and balances SEO with readability.
- Sales Enablement Material: Create and maintain case studies, proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral to assist the sales team in closing deals.
- Performance Review: Analyze copy performance using analytics and feedback to inform future iterations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, strategists, campaign managers, and client success teams to ensure messaging aligns with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
Requirements:
- Behavior Analytics Tools: Experience with behavior analytics tools like Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity to review user behavior and adjust copy accordingly.
- Local SEO & GMB Optimization: Knowledge of local SEO practices and Google My Business optimization.
- Storytelling & Brand Development: Experience in crafting narrative frameworks or personas that strengthen brand identity.
- Editing with AI Tools: Proficiency in using AI tools like Grammarly and ChatGPT for efficient editing and headline testing.
- Certifications: HubSpot Content Marketing Certification, Copyblogger Content Marketing Certification, Google Ads Certification, or SEO Certification from SEMrush, Yoast, or equivalent
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting, preferably within the healthcare, local services, or lead-generation industries.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Hotjar, Google Ads, email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp), and CRM-integrated messaging.
- SEO & UX Writing: Strong understanding of SEO principles and UX writing best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and performance metrics to refine copy strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications: Copywriting certifications or additional coursework in digital marketing, SEO, or UX writing
