Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy and adaptable Contract Staff member to provide essential operational support across our core banking functions. In the fast-paced financial services sector, success is defined by "Agile Support", the ability to pivot between relationship management, credit monitoring, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role is designed for a "Banking Generalist" who can blend "Analytical Precision" with the "Service Grit" required to ensure smooth daily operations.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Friction Banking Operations and Enhanced Client Engagement." You will be a versatile asset: responsible for assisting in loan monitoring, supporting compliance protocols, and acting as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries. This is a renewable 12-month contract designed for professionals who thrive under minimal supervision and are eager to make a measurable impact on the bank’s performance.
Requirements:
1. Relationship & Credit Governance
Portfolio Support: Assist Relationship Managers in maintaining client engagement and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio.
Credit Vigilance: Support the Credit & Collections team in monitoring loan repayments and tracking delinquent accounts to minimize non-performing loans (NPLs).
Documentation Management: Ensure all customer files and loan documentations are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
2. Compliance & Regulatory Stewardship
KYC/AML Alignment: Assist the Compliance department in verifying customer identities (Know Your Customer) and monitoring transactions for suspicious activities.
Audit Readiness: Maintain high-fidelity records of daily transactions to ensure that all departmental activities are prepared for internal and regulatory audits.
Process Enforcement: Adhere strictly to the bank’s internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate operational risk.
3. Customer Experience & Service Excellence
Frontline Advocacy: Deliver prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, providing information on banking products and services.
Resolution Management: Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalating complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Operational Flow: Support general administrative tasks that facilitate a seamless flow of activities across the branch or department.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's Degree from a prestigious higher institution.
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel and Word) and familiarity with digital banking tools.
Experience: While this is a support role, previous exposure to financial services or customer-facing environments is an advantage.
