Financial Precision: Perform in-depth viability assessments, demonstrating expert-level precision in interpreting financial statements and multi-year cash flow projections.
Credit Structuring: Craft distinctive credit proposals that expertly balance client requirements with institutional risk parameters and regulatory standards.
Portfolio Vigilance: Monitor portfolio performance with a sharp eye for early warning signals, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to maintain asset quality.
3. Compliance & Internal Synergy
Regulatory Adherence: Maintain unwavering compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and internal banking regulations, staying current with evolving industry best practices.
Internal Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with Risk, Legal, and Operations teams to deliver an unparalleled client experience and coordinate complex financial closings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. (An MBA or professional certifications like ACIB, ICAN, or ACCA is a distinct plus).
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial banking or corporate lending.
Track Record: Proven success in Credit Analysis, Portfolio Management, and high-value Business Development.
Core Competencies
Credit Mastery: Strong command of commercial banking products (LBD, Invoice Discounting, Term Loans, etc.) and the regulatory landscape.
Negotiation: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing C-suite stakeholders.
Strategy: Ability to leverage market awareness to proactively identify emerging sector opportunities.
