Job Description:

  • Supervise and monitor finishing and fitting works across multiple project sites, with emphasis on bathroom fittings, sanitary installations, tiling, waterproofing, and related interior finishes. 
  • Track project progress for finishing phases, identifying delays, workmanship gaps, material issues, and deviations from approved drawings and specifications. 
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality of finishes, accuracy of installations, alignment, sealing, and overall workmanship standards. 
  • Ensure correct installation of bathroom fittings, sanitary ware, accessories, and finishing materials in line with approved designs and manufacturer specifications. 
  • Review and verify project documentation including finishing schedules, material submittals, method statements, and progress reports. 
  • Coordinate closely with site engineers, interior designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely resolution of site issues. 
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients during finishing phases, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns professionally. 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, trust, and repeat business opportunities. 
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure that delivered fittings and materials meet approved samples, quality standards, and technical requirements. 
  • Prepare and submit detailed project monitoring and quality inspection reports, including snag lists and recommendations for corrective actions. 
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, approved drawings, material specifications, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements. 
  • Participate in site coordination meetings, client walkthroughs, and technical review sessions, providing practical engineering input. 
  • Verify completion of finishing milestones, conduct snagging and de-snagging exercises, and recommend approvals for payments based on verified progress. 
  • Maintain proper documentation, records, approvals, and archives for all finishing and client-related project communications. 
  • Promote professionalism, accountability, attention to detail, and a client-focused culture across all project sites. 

Requirements:

  • Experience working in construction, interior fit-out, real estate development, or engineering consulting firms is preferred. 
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and reporting skills. 
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction. 
  • Practical knowledge of bathroom fitting systems, finishing materials, installation methods, and quality assurance standards

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. 
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in civil engineering roles with strong exposure to construction finishes, bathroom fittings, sanitary ware, and interior works. 
  • Proven experience interacting directly with clients, consultants, or developers on site and managing client expectations during project delivery. 
  • Professional certifications such as COREN registration, PMP, or QMS certification are an added advantage.
