Job Description:
We are seeking a highly competent, disciplined, and tactically-minded Chief Security Officer (CSO) to spearhead our Close Protection Department and Event Security Operations. This is a senior leadership role that requires a blend of strategic risk management and "boots-on-the-ground" operational command. You will be responsible for safeguarding high-net-worth individuals and ensuring the absolute integrity of large-scale event perimeters. The ideal candidate is a resourceful professional with a background in security, capable of leading elite teams under pressure while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements:
1. Close Protection (EP) Coordination
Deployment & Oversight: Direct and coordinate close protection assignments, ensuring that all protection details are briefed, equipped, and positioned for maximum effectiveness.
Protocol Adherence: Enforce strict adherence to security protocols, ensuring that confidentiality and the safety of the principal are never compromised.
Logistics & Mobility: Oversee secure movement and transportation; a valid driver’s license is mandatory as you may be required to drive or supervise tactical driving maneuvers.
2. Event Security & Tactical Planning
Strategic Deployment: Plan and supervise the deployment of security personnel for high-profile events and special engagements.
Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive pre-event site surveys and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
Command & Control: Serve as the primary liaison between the security team, event planners, clients, and local law enforcement.
3. Reporting & Training
Briefings: Provide detailed security briefings to personnel and clients before engagements.
Incident Documentation: Prepare professional, accurate reports regarding security incidents, operational performance, and risk profiles.
Mentorship: Supervise and evaluate the conduct of the security force, fostering a culture of high integrity and tactical excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Core Competencies
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and resourceful in crisis situations.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be able to write detailed operational reports and read complex security briefs effectively.
Professionalism: High level of integrity with a refined understanding of the discretion required in private security.
Mobility: Must be a competent driver with a valid driver’s license.
Experience & Background
Proven Tenure: A background in the military, police, or private security sector is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Specialized certifications in Close Protection, First Aid/CPR, or Crisis Management are highly desirable.
Education: While formal degrees are valued, we prioritize candidates who demonstrate the specific competencies and judgment required for high-level security leadership.
