Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic-minded Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the primary operational engine of our organization. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between high-level vision and daily execution, transforming corporate strategies into actionable, performance-driven plans. This is a high-level executive role for a leader with a proven history of scaling operations, ensuring fiscal health, and fostering a culture of innovation and service excellence.
Requirements:
Strategic Operations: Oversee all day-to-day operations across all locations, ensuring seamless synchronization and operational excellence in company-managed service centers.
Operational Excellence: Drive process improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and profitability. You will serve as the primary architect for translating business strategy into measurable operational goals.
Fiscal Stewardship: Aggressively manage capital investments, expenses, and fiscal health to ensure the organization meets investor targets for growth and returns.
Corporate Leadership: Support the Managing Director in strategic decision-making, overseeing corporate planning, budgeting, and policy implementation at all levels.
Market Expansion: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of market potential, regulatory landscapes, and financial factors to create and integrate new market roadmaps into the operating plan.
Stakeholder Relations: Lead the development of high-value relationships with new and existing clientele while ensuring the organization is positioned as the market leader.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree plus a relevant postgraduate business qualification (MBA or equivalent).
Experience: 12–15 years of professional experience, with the last 5 years in a senior strategic management role.
Professional Certification: Mandatory Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP/PMI). Membership in a recognized professional body is required.
Operational Expertise: In-depth, working knowledge of core business functions including HR, Finance, and Sales. Direct experience in the automobile industry is a strong advantage.
Executive Competencies:
Leadership: A proven track record of growing high-performance corporate cultures and leading at the executive level.
Strategic Execution: Ability to manage complex projects, allocate resources effectively, and make decisive choices amidst competing priorities.
Analytics: Demonstrated ability to evaluate market dynamics and value drivers to ensure long-term business viability.
