Job Description:

We are seeking a commercially sharp and technically literate Strategic Procurement Buyer to lead our technology and operational procurement. In this role, you will be more than a purchasing agent; you will be a value architect, ensuring the organization maximizes its return on investment (ROI) through data-driven demand planning, rigorous vendor vetting, and aggressive commercial negotiation. The ideal candidate possesses the analytical depth to assess market trends and the diplomatic skill to influence stakeholders, all while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to ethical procurement and regulatory governance.

Requirements:

1. Demand Intelligence & Vendor Selection

• Requirements Architecture: Collaborate with internal departments for requirements gathering and advanced demand planning to prevent over-provisioning or stock-outs.

• Strategic Sourcing: Conduct exhaustive vendor research and selection processes to build a robust, high-performance supplier base.

• Market Awareness: Maintain continuous technology and market awareness to identify emerging solutions that offer superior cost-to-performance ratios.

2. Commercial Negotiation & Order Management

• Contractual Governance: Lead commercial negotiations and contracting, ensuring terms are favorable, risks are mitigated, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are enforceable.

• Execution Excellence: Manage the end-to-end procurement execution and order management lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

• Risk & Compliance: Implement rigorous risk, compliance, and governance checks to protect the organization from supply chain disruptions or unethical practices.

3. Supplier Relationship & Performance Management

• SRM Excellence: Develop and manage long-term Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs to foster innovation and reliability.

• Performance Audits: Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, ensuring vendors consistently meet quality and delivery standards.

• Ethical Procurement: Champion ethical procurement practices and "Integrity-First" information management in all internal and external dealings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Mastery & Competencies

• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint (executive reporting).

• Analytical Prowess: Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills with a forensic attention to detail.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders and negotiate with global vendors.

• Professionalism: High level of integrity and a disciplined approach to information management.
