Job Description:
Vivafemini is seeking a high-caliber Business Intelligence & Data Science Specialist to architect the data foundation for Africa’s leading women’s health platform. This is a role for a technical visionary who understands that data is not just about "numbers," but about the lives and health outcomes of the women we serve.
In this pivotal role, you will design and implement sophisticated data dashboards, build scalable reporting systems, and perform advanced predictive modeling. You will bridge the gap between complex data architecture and executive decision-making, ensuring that every strategic move Vivafemini makes is backed by empirical evidence. Requirements:
1. BI Architecture & Interactive Visualization
Dashboard Engineering: Design and maintain world-class interactive dashboards (Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau) that provide real-time visibility into company KPIs.
Automated Pipelines: Build and optimize automated reporting pipelines to eliminate manual data entry and ensure "single source of truth" reliability.
Visual Storytelling: Apply data visualization best practices to ensure complex trends are immediately intuitive for non-technical stakeholders.
2. Advanced Analytics & Predictive Science
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Dive deep into structured and unstructured datasets to identify hidden trends, anomalies, and growth levers.
Advanced Modeling: Conduct cohort analysis, funnel optimization, and build predictive models to forecast user behavior and health trends.
Statistical Rigor: Perform A/B testing and hypothesis testing to validate product features and marketing strategies.
3. Data Management & Governance
Data Modeling: Clean, transform, and validate data, designing optimized models that ensure high performance across large datasets.
Cloud Infrastructure: Work within cloud environments (GCP/BigQuery, AWS, or Azure) to manage data warehousing and API integrations.
Governance: Implement strict data documentation and governance standards to ensure data privacy and security, especially vital in the healthcare sector.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Toolset
Languages: Mastery of SQL is mandatory; strong proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling.
BI Platforms: Expert-level experience with Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
Data Engineering: Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Airflow) and Data Warehousing (BigQuery, Snowflake).
Modeling: Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills and an understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
Experience: 3 – 7+ years in BI or Data Science, with a proven track record of building executive-level reporting systems.
Mindset: Highly analytical with the ability to translate "data-speak" into clear business recommendations.
