Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Business Development Officer to drive capital growth and liquidity through strategic deposit mobilization in Port Harcourt. This is a role for a "Market Hunter"—a professional with a sophisticated network and the financial intelligence to consult with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and large organizations.

Your mission is to build and manage a premium deposit portfolio by positioning our asset management solutions as the preferred choice for medium-to-large scale entities. You will act as a strategic advisor, facilitating financial intelligence programs and navigating the complex economic landscape to secure high-value placements. Requirements:

1. Portfolio Growth & Deposit Mobilization

• Capital Sourcing: Identify and secure substantial deposits from medium-to-large organizations and mid-to-high-end private clientele.

• Consultative Sales: Utilize a "consultancy-first" approach to direct marketing, aligning our financial products with the liquidity needs of sophisticated investors.

• Lead Conversion: Drive the full sales lifecycle from aggressive lead generation to final conversion, ensuring a consistent inflow of new capital.

2. Relationship Management & Financial Intelligence

• Stewardship: Develop and maintain long-term, high-trust relationships with a portfolio of elite clients, ensuring retention through excellent service.

• Cross-Selling: Maximize client value by identifying opportunities to cross-sell diverse asset management and investment products.

• Knowledge Leadership: Facilitate financial intelligence programs for prospects and stay current on economic indices to provide expert market implications to your clientele.

3. Compliance, Reporting & Market Standards

• Regulatory Governance: Ensure all marketing and mobilization activities strictly adhere to the SEC rules, industry codes of conduct, and prevailing financial regulations.

• Data-Driven Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate, timely periodic reports on portfolio performance, pipeline health, and market feedback.

• Market Presence: Actively coordinate and participate in high-profile company marketing activities and networking events within the Port Harcourt territory.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC experience specifically in marketing and deposit generation within Port Harcourt.

• Sector IQ: Proven success in building a significant deposit portfolio within an Asset Management firm, Investment Bank, or specialized Microfinance environment.
