Job Description:

The Business Development Associate will support the growth of the company by assisting in securing partnerships, sponsorships, grants, and ticket sales. Working closely with the leadership team, you will help identify opportunities, nurture relationships, and contribute to strategies that drive revenue and strengthen our impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing fundraising and sales strategies for productions, academy programmes, and special projects.
• Research potential sponsors, donors, grant opportunities, and institutional partners.
• Support outreach efforts by drafting proposals, pitch decks, and sponsorship packages.
• Help maintain relationships with existing partners and follow up on new leads.
• Coordinate with the team to align partnership campaigns with promotional efforts.
• Track progress on fundraising and sales activities; provide reports and updates to supervisors.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years’ experience in fundraising, sales, partnerships, or business development (experience in arts, culture, education, or nonprofit is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in outreach and relationship building.
• Basic knowledge of proposal writing, sponsorship outreach, or grant applications.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Comfortable working independently and within a small, creative team.
