Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and commercially creative Business Developer to anchor the growth engine of our Ikeja-based Creative Studio. In the competitive Lagos media and entertainment landscape, success is defined by "Relational Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-level industry networking with the clinical precision required to convert brand collaborations into sustainable revenue. This role is designed for a "Growth Architect" with at least 2 years of experience who can blend "Experiential Marketing Grit" with the "Negotiation Agility" required to secure high-value sponsorships and event activations.

Requirements:

1. Partnership Architecture & Sponsorship Sourcing

  • Strategic Alliances: Identify, secure, and manage high-fidelity strategic partnerships and brand collaborations that align with the Studio’s luxury or creative vision.

  • Sponsorship Engineering: Lead the pursuit of corporate sponsorships, translating the Studio’s creative output into compelling value propositions for brands and agencies.

  • Pitch Sovereignty: Develop and deliver elite-level presentations to decision-makers, positioning the Studio as the premier partner for media, fashion, and tech brand integrations.

2. Experiential Growth & Revenue Transformation

  • Activation Orchestration: Drive business growth through experiential marketing opportunities and event activations, ensuring the Studio’s physical and digital presence is monetized effectively.

  • Deal Synthesis: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership terms with millimetric precision to maximize organizational profitability while delivering partner value.

  • Pipeline Governance: Maintain a rigorous deal pipeline, tracking performance metrics and reporting on revenue growth and ROI with clinical accuracy.

3. Cross-Functional Synergy & Brand Positioning

  • Creative Collaboration: Work synchronously with the creative, production, and marketing teams to ensure that all partnerships are executed with high-fidelity brand alignment.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay at the forefront of trends in the entertainment, lifestyle, and influencer marketing spaces to identify "Blue Ocean" revenue opportunities.

  • Relationship Stewardship: Maintain and deepen an active network of industry leaders, ensuring the Studio remains top-of-mind for major corporate and creative projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven success in business development, partnerships, or sponsorship sales.

  • Network Sovereignty: An existing, active network within the creative, entertainment, media, fashion, or corporate brand spaces in Lagos.

  • Sector Expertise: Experience with production studios, creative agencies, or experiential marketing is a significant advantage.
