Job Description:
We are seeking a strategically minded and culturally agile Brand Manager to anchor our market presence. In a diverse and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) landscape, success is defined by "Linguistic Resonance", the ability to translate global or national brand objectives into regional narratives that drive local loyalty. This role is designed for a "Market Visionary" with at least 5 years of experience in an FMCG environment who can blend "High-Level Data Analytics" with the "Cultural Diplomacy" required to lead campaigns in Northern Nigerian markets.
Your mission is to ensure "Brand Consistency and Deep Regional Visibility." You will be the primary steward of our brand’s identity: responsible for orchestrating digital and social media campaigns, leading market research initiatives, and managing high-value external partnerships. Given the target demographic, fluency in the Hausa language is compulsory to ensure authentic engagement and cross-functional leadership in multicultural environments.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Architecture & Campaign Leadership
Brand Roadmap: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on sustainable growth and market share expansion.
Campaign Orchestration: Lead the planning and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns, integrating digital, social media, and traditional promotional activities.
Linguistic Strategy: Utilize fluency in Hausa to localize brand messaging, ensuring cultural relevance and maximum impact across diverse Northern markets.
2. Market Intelligence & Performance Governance
Trend Analysis: Manage sophisticated market research projects to analyze industry shifts and consumer behavior, translating data into actionable brand improvements.
Performance Analytics: Monitor and report on key brand metrics (ROI, Brand Equity, Market Penetration), utilizing modern marketing tools to track success.
Competitor Intelligence: Conduct regular "Deep Dives" into competitor strategies within the FMCG sector to identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
3. Cross-Functional Synergy & Partner Diplomacy
External Stakeholder Management: Manage and nurture relationships with agencies, vendors, and international partners to ensure high-fidelity brand delivery.
Internal Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance) to maintain a unified brand image across all consumer touchpoints.
Agile Project Management: Oversee multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met with a "Zero-Error" mindset regarding brand standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a brand management role specifically within an FMCG organization.
Linguistic Requirement: Fluency in the Hausa language is compulsory.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Global Context: Experience working in international markets or multicultural environments is considered a significant advantage.
