Job Description:

A Brand Manager is the "guardian" of a company’s public image. They don’t just manage ads; they shape how customers feel, think, and interact with a brand. By combining market research with creative storytelling, they ensure the brand stays consistent, profitable, and ahead of competitors.

In industrial or manufacturing sectors (like polymers or FMCG), this role is about connecting complex technical products to the right business and consumer audiences.

Requirements:

• Brand Strategy: Defining the "voice" and visual identity of the company.

• Consumer Insights: Using market data to understand what customers need and why they choose one product over another.

• Product Positioning: Working with production and sales teams to decide how new products should be introduced to the market.

• Communication Management: Overseeing all brand messaging across social media, traditional media, and digital channels.

• Performance Tracking: Managing marketing budgets and measuring brand equity (the value of the brand name).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree (MBA or M.Sc.) is considered a strong added advantage.

• Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant, progressive experience in brand management or general marketing.

  • Sector Preference: Direct experience working within the manufacturing, polymer, or heavy industrial sectors is highly desirable.

  • A proven track record of managing and growing brands within highly competitive markets.

• Age Constraint:

  • Candidates must not be older than 45 years of age at the time of application.
