Job Description:

We are seeking diligent and customer-centric individuals to fill the role of Bank Teller / Processor / Customer Service Officer across our branches in the South-East region. This multi-functional role is the face of our banking operations, requiring a high level of integrity, professional poise, and technical accuracy. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining rigorous cash records, and providing exceptional service to our diverse customer base.

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who can balance the speed required in a fast-paced banking hall with the meticulous attention to detail needed for zero-error financial processing.

Requirements:

Transaction Processing & Cash Management

  • Financial Operations: Accurately and efficiently process customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other over-the-counter transactions.

  • Cash Custody: Maintain precise cash handling procedures, balance your cash drawer daily, and assist in the preparation of end-of-day branch reports.

  • Compliance: Ensure every transaction adheres strictly to the bank’s internal policies, standard operating procedures, and national regulatory requirements.

Customer Service & Sales

  • Inquiry Resolution: Provide customers with clear information regarding banking products and services, resolving complaints or escalating complex issues to management when necessary.

  • Product Promotion: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or promote relevant bank products and services to customers based on their needs.

  • Professional Environment: Ensure a clean, organized, and professional workspace that reflects the bank’s brand values.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: BSc, B.Ed, B.Eng, or B.Agric in any field. This role is open to graduates with diverse academic backgrounds who possess strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Experience:

    • Prior experience in a banking or customer service role is a plus but not mandatory.

    • Fresh graduates with a strong desire to build a career in the financial sector are encouraged to apply.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    • Basic understanding of banking procedures and financial products.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Numerical Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail when handling large volumes of cash and financial data.

    • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with a wide range of customers.

    • Problem-Solving: The ability to remain calm and effective when handling difficult customer situations or high-pressure periods.
