Job Summary
- A B2 Engineer job description is primarily focused on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of an aircraft's electronic and avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and autopilot equipment.
- Responsibilities include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting technical issues, while also meticulously documenting all work and coordinating with other engineers and technicians.
- This role is safety-critical, requiring strong attention to detail and adherence to aviation regulations
Responsibilities
- Conducting inspections of electrical and avionic systems
- Performing complex maintenance tasks on aircraft electronics
- Carrying out thorough system checks and repairs
- Issue certificates of release to service after maintenance Supervising and certifying maintenance work
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshooting sophisticated electronic systems
- Maintaining detailed documentation of all work performed Collaborating with other maintenance personnel
- Staying current with technical updates and regulatory changes
