Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber, results-driven Audit Manager to take strategic and operational lead of our Audit & Assurance unit. With 8–10 years of progressive experience, the successful candidate will be the technical anchor of the firm, overseeing complex audit engagements from planning to final reporting. This role requires a balance of sophisticated technical knowledge (IFRS/ISA) and the leadership emotional intelligence needed to mentor a high-performing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance while acting as a trusted advisor to clients on internal controls and financial reporting.

Requirements:

1. Audit Lifecycle & Quality Governance

• Strategic Planning: Plan and oversee multiple audit engagements, ensuring audit programs are tailored to client-specific risk assessments.

• Technical Excellence: Conduct rigorous reviews of audit working papers and financial statements to ensure 100% compliance with IFRS and ISA.

• Quality Control: Enforce the firm’s quality control policies, ensuring every management letter and audit report meets regulatory and professional benchmarks.

2. Risk Management & Advisory Insights

• Control Evaluation: Identify systemic internal control weaknesses and provide practical, value-added recommendations to client management.

• Technical Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert on complex accounting treatments and the impact of emerging regulatory changes.

• Audit Software Mastery: Drive the effective use of automated audit software to enhance engagement efficiency and data-driven insights.

3. Team Leadership & Client Stewardship

• Talent Development: Supervise and mentor Senior Associates and Associates, providing continuous performance feedback and capacity-building training.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, clearly communicating findings and risk issues to Boards and those charged with governance.

• Business Growth: Support Partners in business development, from drafting technical proposals to delivering high-impact client presentations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Mandatory Credentials

• Professional Certification: ACA/ACCA certification is mandatory.

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Proven Tenure: 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in audit practice, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Core Competencies

• Technical Authority: Expert-level knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and ISA.

• Leadership Presence: Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary audit teams and navigating complex client engagements.

• Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable management insights.

• Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal skills for high-level reporting and stakeholder management.
