We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Assistant System Engineer will support the bank’s technology operations, assist in maintaining the AMBS banking system, provide technical support to users, and ensure effective performance of all IT infrastructure.
• This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about fintech and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily monitoring and maintenance of the AMBS Core Banking System.
• Provide first-level support for AMBS issues and escalate when needed.
• Support system updates, patches, backups, and routine IT operations.
• Assist with network, server, and application monitoring.
• Run SQL queries and support data extraction for reports and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in system testing, integration, and enhancement projects.
• Support IT audits, user access management, and compliance procedures.
• Document incidents, processes, and technical procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of core banking or enterprise systems (AMBS experience is an advantage).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux servers and general networking concepts.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly.
