Job Description:

• The Assistant Manager – Electrical (Power Plant) will support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems within the power plant, ensuring uninterrupted power supply, compliance with safety standards, and optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of power generation and distribution systems, including generators (e.g., Jenbacher, Perkins, Cummins), transformers, switchgear, HT/LT panels, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to plant operations.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Monitor load management, energy efficiency, and electrical performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate timely repairs.
• Supervise electrical technicians and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and energy optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of power generation systems, distribution networks, and protection systems.
• Experience with HT/LT systems, switchgear, transformers, and generators.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–7years’ experience in power plant or heavy industrial electrical operations.
