ASSISTANT AUDITOR AT ZEE RECRUITS

Job Description:

Daily Operational Audits:

• Cross-check POS reports, sales summaries, and cash/credit reconciliations.
• Verify that all transactions are properly posted, recorded, and authorized.
• Monitor voids, discounts, refunds, and complimentary orders for irregularities.

Inventory & Cost Control Support:

• Participate in periodic stock counts (bar, kitchen, and store).
• Compare physical counts with system records and identify variances.
• Ensure proper documentation of stock movements, requisitions, and transfers.

Audit Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain audit schedules, checklists, and working papers.
• Document findings and observations clearly and accurately.
• Assist the Auditor in preparing audit reports.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure issues have been resolved.

Fraud Detection & Prevention:

• Identify suspicious trends in sales, inventory, or cash handling.
• Report potential fraud or policy breaches to the Auditor.
• Support investigations when irregularities are detected.

Systems & Controls Monitoring:

• Assist in verifying that system controls (void approval, discount limits, etc.) are active.
• Check that all departments maintain proper recordkeeping.

Procurement & Vendor Audits:

• Assist in reviewing purchase invoices, LPOs, GRNs, and supplier documentation.
• Compare purchase prices with approved price lists.
• Help ensure that the procurement process is transparent and compliant.

Operational Efficiency Reviews:

• Assist in evaluating wastage, breakage, shrinkage, and operational loopholes.

Requirements:

• Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree with 1-3 years experience.
