Job Description:
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives that increase traffic, conversions, and overall e-commerce sales.
- Analyze channel performance and attribution data to prioritize spend toward the highest-yield audiences, products, and campaigns.
- Use analytics, customer insights, and performance tracking to continuously refine campaigns, targeting, and marketing ROI.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end performance tracking of mtn.ng and MTN eShop funnels, including data bundle purchases, device sales, broadband router orders, and online SIM requests, identifying friction points and quantifying revenue leakage per stage.
- Monitor transaction drop-off diagnostics across mtn.ng and eShop payment flows, escalating technical failures impacting revenue.
- Design and run controlled A/B tests across mtn.ng landing pages, promotional campaign pages, and eShop checkout flows to improve conversion rates and average order value.
- Coordinate structured tagging frameworks across GA4 for accurate attribution of web traffic, campaign performance, and completed purchases on mtn.ng and eShop.
- Lead optimization of paid media to mtn.ng acquisition journeys, ensuring seamless transition from campaign landing pages to eShop checkout and order confirmation flows.
- Analyze behavioral drop-off between product page views, cart additions, and completed payments on eShop, identifying UX, pricing, or fulfillment barriers.
- Partner with Product and IT teams to define feature requirements for mtn.ng and eShop, including personalized device recommendations, cross-sell prompts, and bundle upsell logic.
- Build automated dashboards tracking daily gross merchandise value across eShop, device conversion rate, payment success rate, order fulfillment status, and campaign-linked revenue performance.
- Collaborate with Sales and Distribution teams to ensure alignment between online orders and dealer fulfillment capacity across regions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
- Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, E-commerce Management, or Data Analytics.
- Training in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Courses or certifications in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of consumer behavior, digital marketing, and online retail operations.
- APCON Certification.
- Fluent in English.
Experience:
- 3–7 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience working with others.
- Experience analyzing online sales performance, website traffic, and customer behavior.
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce).
- Ability to track and optimize conversion rates, cart abandonment, and customer journeys.
- Experience working with digital marketing teams on campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
- Strong background in data reporting, dashboard creation, and performance insights.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization of online user experience.
- Ability to translate data insights into business recommendations that improve revenue and customer acquisition.
