We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Officer to join our Finance team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring timely reporting to support effective decision-making across the organization.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in line with financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and monitor cash flow movements.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing necessary data and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings and regulatory documentation.
  • Track receivables and payables, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure timely settlements.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all finance-related records.
  • Liaise with internal departments, vendors, and auditors for finance-related matters.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and accounting processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles and independently handling Accounts payables and receivables.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
