Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Accounting Assistant / Officer to anchor the financial engine of our manufacturing and services operations in Ibadan. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the accuracy of the unit cost and the precision of the ledger success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize production costing with the clinical precision required for Inventory Governance, Supplier Payments, and Statutory Filings (VAT/PAYE). This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" specifically a professional who has completed their NYSC who can blend "Commercial Grit" (managing receivables and sales documentation) with the "Technical Agility" required to execute Cost Control and Internal Audits.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Cost Governance

• Sovereignty of the Ledger: Record and process financial transactions with high-velocity precision, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Accuracy."

• Production Architecture: Maintain high-fidelity inventory and cost records for manufacturing and services, providing the "Structural Foundation" for price integrity.

• Integrity Stewardship: Monitor supplier payments and receivables, ensuring the "Source of Liquidity Stability" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Compliance Logic

• Statutory Sovereignty: Assist with VAT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings, acting as the primary "Source of Statutory Fidelity."

• Documentation Architecture: Ensure the proper filing of sales, production, and service activities, providing the "Functional Foundation" for audit-readiness.

• Expense Stewardship: Monitor organizational expenses and internal controls, maintaining the "Source of Fiscal Discipline."

3. Operational Integrity & Collaboration Power

• Team Sovereignty: Work seamlessly with production and sales teams to align financial data with physical output, acting as the primary "Source of Cross-Functional Unity."

• Reporting Architecture: Provide timely financial reports and summaries, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-led management decisions.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Numerical Accuracy and Software expertise to accelerate the "Activity-to-Entry" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Administrative Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Mandatory: Must have completed NYSC.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar field is a significant advantage.

• Technical Power: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or accounting software; strong bookkeeping knowledge.

• Statutory IQ: Knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and standard deductions is a distinct plus.
