Job Description:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory financial requirements.
- Support budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Conduct internal financial audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies as required.
- Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax laws.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ICAN certification is mandatory.
- 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience.
