Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Officer to manage our organization's day-to-day financial operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial integrity, ensuring that all records are accurate, reconciliations are seamless, and income/expenses are tracked with precision. Requirements:

  • Financial Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all daily financial transactions (income and expenses), ensuring all activities are properly documented.

  • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable. Process vendor/supplier payments, follow up on outstanding client payments, and maintain a rigorous log of all invoices and receipts.

  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular, thorough bank reconciliations to verify transactions against statements and promptly resolve any identified discrepancies.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management, providing clear updates on revenue, cash flow, and overall financial health.

  • Budget & Expense Control: Assist in tracking company budgets, monitoring spend against approvals, and identifying opportunities for cost-saving.

  • Payroll & Compliance: Provide support in payroll processing and ensure all activities remain in full compliance with internal financial policies and statutory regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an accounting or finance role.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).

    • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
