Job Description:

Qatar Airways is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager to drive our revenue engine across the Nigerian region. Based in Lagos, you will be the primary architect of our SME and Corporate growth, responsible for navigating one of the most vibrant aviation markets in Africa to deliver the regional revenue budget.

Your mission is to blend high-level relationship management with aggressive sales acquisition. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our Corporate and Leisure SME programmes—from identifying and onboarding high-value accounts to designing data-driven marketing campaigns that increase account activation. Requirements:

1. Portfolio Management & Revenue Architecture

  • Revenue Stewardship: Take full ownership of the regional account portfolio, analyzing sales data to identify tactical opportunities and ensure the delivery of the revenue budget.

  • Pipeline Management: Use Salesforce to track the progress of accounts through the Corporate and Leisure pipelines, submitting rigorous sales call plans and performance reports.

  • SME Growth: Design and execute strategic sales initiatives tailored to the SME segment to drive both new acquisitions and increased activation from existing clients.

2. Market Intelligence & Strategic Advocacy

  • Informed Strategy: Provide real-time market intelligence and feedback on programme performance, recommending corrective actions to maintain a competitive edge in the Nigerian market.

  • Product Diplomacy: Act as a technical advisor to trade and corporate teams, keeping them informed of forthcoming product developments, cabin enhancements, and special promotions.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Qatar Airways as a premier brand ambassador at trade exhibitions, corporate seminars, and high-profile leisure events.

3. Operational Support & Publicity

  • Account Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless entry for new corporate and leisure customers, resolving account queries and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Publicity Coordination: Work with the Doha Head Office to drive maximum media coverage and publicity for regional campaigns, ensuring the brand remains top-of-mind for Nigerian travelers.

  • System Proficiency: Leverage your knowledge of GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and ticketing to provide high-level support and trouble-shooting for trade partners.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: Proven experience in a commercial, customer-facing role, preferably within the Aviation or Travel industry.

  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in GDS systems, ticketing protocols, and Salesforce (CRM).

  • Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with fluency in English and a high degree of "Communication with Impact."

Core Competencies

  • Analytical IQ: The ability to interpret complex sales data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable revenue strategies.

  • Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Nigerian corporate and leisure travel landscape.

  • Digital Literacy: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Compliance: You must have the legal right to live and work in Nigeria.
