Job Description:

Are you an experienced sales leader passionate about scaling B2B fintech solutions? A leading company in the fintech sector is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager – Cross-Border Payments to spearhead the growth of their cross-border payment operations. You will manage and mentor a high-performing team, driving customer acquisition strategies within the SME and trade sectors.

Requirements:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and manage a team of 5–10 Sales Representatives to consistently exceed sales targets.

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies specifically targeted at SMEs engaged in foreign trade and cross-border logistics.

  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture enduring partnerships with business owners, traders, and key industry stakeholders.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, sales activity, and conversion rates to maintain high productivity.

  • Field Engagement: Conduct field visits to support your team in closing complex deals and managing client objections.

  • Lead Generation: Leverage digital platforms and social media alongside traditional networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings to build a robust pipeline.

  • Market Intelligence: Generate actionable market insights and competitor analyses to fuel business expansion.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate Degree, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in sales management with a track record of leading high-performing teams.

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in B2B Sales, Fintech, SaaS, Taxation, or Cross-Border Logistics is highly preferred.

  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.

  • Mindset: Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advantageous: Existing networks within the SME exporter or trading community; experience with social media-driven customer acquisition.
